Message from the President

Welcome to another exciting year of Ball Hockey.  The 08 season saw DMBHA celebrate twenty years of ball hockey in our community. This accomplishment could not have been achieved without you the parents, you the coaches, you the officials and most importantly you the players. The DMBHA community truly is a role model to all minor sports associations.

We must pay tribute to the outstanding youth that represented our country in the 08 World’s championships. Delta is very proud of our five boys who represented Canada in all three levels. True patriotism and home association spirit shone brightly as Canada swept the Worlds taking home the gold in all divisions. This past season saw British Columbia well represented at the Nationals with a large number of Delta boys on the bench. The Western Challenge Cup tournament saw Delta medal in every division. Congratulations to all participants and coaching staff!

 We take pride in being a community sport that encourages all skill levels of players to participate. We credit our success on the amount of fun players have during the regular season.  To further extend this philosophy, we offer an equal “everyone makes the play-offs” policy to our members.  It is our executive’s objective to ensure that all players are developed and encouraged in a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere. As exciting as it is to see participants in the elite sector of this sport, nothing can compare to the smiles and laughter you see and hear on the floor during our season of play.

 Don’t forget parents, DMBHA is always looking for new volunteers to join our executive team and help out during special events.
